Entrevista com Neide da Silveira Duarte de Matos, que nos traz um panorama de suas experiências durante os estudos sobre Educação Especial realizados em Cuba, local escolhido pelo seu caráter de consolidação do movimento de estudos e pesquisas fundamentados na Teoria Histórico-cultural (THC), bem como por sediar o Centro de Referência Latinoamericano para a Educação Especial, proposto também na década de 1990, com intenção de representar a Educação Especial Cubana e promover o intercâmbio científico internacional, principalmente entre os países de América Latina e Caribe.
