Journal History

During the period from 2007 to 2016, norms and normative instructions were instituted, thus valuing the rising journal, with a view to achieving its qualification still in development.

This year, the magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary, with the purpose of continuing to publicize the university's actions with the community, fulfilling its social and cultural action.

In order to build a new extension communication cycle in Santa Catarina and Brazil, a new name was given and is now called "Citizenship in Action: Revista de Extension e Cultura".

The name is attributed to the new context in which Extension runs: extension as responsible for bringing university actions to the community, which should provide citizenship, as a social and cultural pole, transforming the citizen through teaching, research and extension: greater purpose of UDESC.
