Abstract

This essay is a review of the book “Active Methodologies: a new learning experience” by Cristine Soares, published in 2021, by Editora Cortez. The work presents reflections on different possible experiences of doing education. Composed of 10 chapters, the author discusses, provokes and presents learning possibilities through active methodologies, supported by theoretical and methodological references and professional experiences. It was possible to identify the relevance of the school allowing itself to new challenges, rethinking curricula, approaches, methodologies and didactics in order to promote pedagogical intentionality possible to make an education with different learning experiences.
