Complaints and Appeals Policy

Complaints against the journal or any member of the editorial team must be submitted via the
Form (link). Received complaints will be discussed by the Editorial Board of ModaPalavra e-
journal in an ordinary meeting or an extraordinary one in cases of misconduct allegations. The
Board will deliberate the most appropriate decision, considering all the Journal’s Editorial
Policies.
The complainant will receive an email response regarding the Board’s decision within a
maximum of 30 business days after the complaint is received. If the complainant disagrees with
the decision, they may submit an appeal via the same email within 15 days of receiving the initial
response. The Board will send a confirmation of receipt of the appeal and will then analyze the
case, issuing a final decision within a maximum of 30 business days after receiving the appeal.
