Abstract

The article analyzes the issue of the animated object based on the relationship it establishes with the subject who animates it and with the public. To do so, it develops a philosophical reflection on how and why the object brings meanings to the theatrical scene. Throughout the writing, concepts are evoked relevant to Plato, Husserl, Kant and Aristotle, among other philosophers and artists.

Professor Honorário (Professor Associado) de Filosofia em Estrasburgo (França) e Professor de História da Arte na École Émile Cohl, Lyon. Conferencista no Festival Mundial de Teatro de Marionetes, em Charleville-Mézières. Publicou, entre outros: La bonne École, 2 vol., com Ph. Rivière (Champ Vallon), L’idiot musical, Glenn Gould, existence et contrepoint, com A. Hirt (Kimé), Nietzsche, l’art et la vie, com H. Nancy (Félin), Méthodologie philosophique, com D. Folscheid e J.J. Wunenburger (P.U.F.).

Professor Adjunto na área de Prática Teatral - Teatro de Animação, no Departamento de Artes Cênicas e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Teatro do Centro de Artes - CEART da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina - UDESC. Doutor em Artes Cênicas (PPGT / UDESC), Mestre em Artes Cênicas (PPGAC / UFRGS), licenciado em Letras - Língua Portuguesa e Literatura Brasileira (ULBRA). Atuou como diretor, ator e cenógrafo da companhia teatral Caixa do Elefante Teatro de Bonecos, entre 1991 e 2016. Foi Presidente da AGTB - Associação Gaúcha de Teatro de Bonecos nos anos de 2002 e 2003. Experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Teatro, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Artes Cênicas, Comunicação, Programas Televisivos e Teatro de Animação.
