Dossier Proposal:

Drama, as an approach to theater teaching and experimentation, was seen in Brazil in the 1990s, based on the pioneering work of professor and researcher Beatriz Ângela Vieira Cabral (Biange), a retired professor from the Department of Performing Arts of the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC).

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this proposal's arrival to the Brazilian territory of Performing Arts Pedagogy, this Dossier invites researchers that have developed research/practices focused on Drama or on any articulations/connections with aspects of this approach to submit proposals for this Dossier. The purpose is to contribute to a greater dissemination of Drama in Brazil, so that those interested in knowing and/or deepening their knowledge about this teaching perspective could have access to works developed in the Brazilian territory.
