Abstract

This text shares different ways of making dramaturgies with documentary objects as part of processes of the theater of documentary objects: ethnographic notebooks, feedback dramaturgies, translation of field research into visual dramaturgies, space as dramaturgy, etc. The practices mentioned as examples come from the author's experience as an “object detective” with her groups Oligor y Microscopía and Agencia El Solar in Mexico and Spain.

Author Biography

Shaday Larios, El Solar. Detectives de objetos y Oligor y Microscopía

Dra. en Artes Escénicas por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Es Lic. en Letras Españolas por la Universidad de Guanajuato. Estudia la maestría en Investigación Antropológica y sus Aplicaciones en la UNED de Madrid. Co-dirige la compañía de teatro de objetos documentales Oligor y Microscopía junto a su socio español Jomi Oligor (oligorymicroscopia.org). Es cofundadora junto a Oligor y Xavier Bobés de El Solar. Agencia de Detectives de Objetos (agenciaelsolar.org) con la que realiza trabajos de campo en distintas comunidades para explorar junto a sus residentes los vínculos entre territorio, memoria y cultura material. Es autora de los libros Escenarios Post-catástrofe: Filosofía Escénica del desastre (Premio Internacional de Ensayo Teatral CITRU-Paso de Gato- ARTEZ, 2010), Los objetos vivos. Escenarios de la materia indócil (Paso de Gato, 2018), Detectives de objetos (La uÑa RoTa, 2019), Teatro de objetos documentales (La uÑa RoTa, 2023).
