Abstract

his article aims to provide information to enrich the knowledge of the role of women who have established links in animation theater, school education and non-formal education. For
this purpose, an analysis is carried out based on a corpus available at the Centre de Recherche et de Documentation of the Institut International de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mézières (The
Research Centre at the International Puppet Institute in Charleville-Mézières) collected in February 2020. The selection criteria include research performed during the 20th Century to the present and conducted by female researchers. A limited sample was obtained, however, it makes possible to specify the bibliographic material available in one of the most important documentation centers of puppet features theater in the world.

Carmen Luz Maturana, Universidad Católica de Chile

Diseñadora Teatral y Lingüista. Su trabajo como titiritera lo ha desarrollado en el teatro de objetos y el teatro de sombras, en la compañía Equilibrio Precario (Chile). Es profesora de la Faculta de Educación de la Universidad Católica.

Andrea Gaete , Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

Atriz de cinema e televisão, contadora de histórias, sombrista e pedagoga. Graduada pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Chile. Contação de histórias, teatro de sombras, teatro e pedagogia são as áreas que concentraram seu interesse. Ministrou oficinas para adultos e participou de diversos projetos de incentivo à leitura e fomento do livro. Paralelamente, a partir de 1995, pratica o Teatro das Sombras, junto com Lía Maldonado na companhia La Bombilla dedicada especialmente às crianças.
