Pontos críticos e equilíbrios dinâmicos: estudar a História do Teatro de Figuras

Abstract

Estas notas propõem algumas reflexões sobre problemas e modalidades que
a pesquisa no âmbito dos Teatros de Figuras comporta. Longe de esgotar o assunto, o artigo pretende oferecer uma contribuição parcial com foco nas peculiaridades desses estudos, mas também afirmar a necessidade de uma maior contextualização no panorama da historiografia teatral. Sendo obviamente impossível afirmar princípios válidos acima das especificidades nacionais, tentei extrapolar de minha experiência pessoal considerações úteis para serem confrontadas com outros contextos, reafirmando a exigência
de pôr em relação os sujeitos que atuam nesses setores, sejam eles acadêmicos, sejam artísticos ou, de modo geral, envolvidos na gestão do patrimônio cultural.

Cristina Grazioli, Università di Padova (Itália)

Doutora em Teoria e História do Teatro (1994).
Professora de História do Teatro, Artes Performáticas e História da Direção Teatral na Universidade de Pádua. Suas pesquisas concentramse no relacionamento entre Teatro e Artes Visuais, Drama Alemão no começo do século 20, Estética da Marionete e Iluminação no Teatro. Faz parte do Comitê Científico Internacional da revista francesa Revue
d’Histoire du Théâtre, também faz parte do Comitê Científico do projeto Nuovo Teatro Made in Italy. Il teatro italiano dal 1963 ad oggi (Centro Teatro Ateneo, Università La Sapienza – Roma).
