Resumo

A reflexão que desenvolvo neste texto tem como motivação observar os efeitos que podem produzir as referências de uma teoria do Discurso e seus desdobramentos metodológicos sobre o ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Abandono a orientação da escola francesa e busco apoio especialmente em Bakhtin e Heller para construir a noção de mediação, o que deve ampliar o horizonte da compreensão do fenômeno lingüístico e da prática pedagógica.

 The purpose of this text is to observe the effects that can be produced by the concepts of Discourse theory and their methodological implications for the teaching of the Portuguese language.  I abandon the orientation of the French school and seek support particularly in Bakhtin and Heller to construct the notion of mediation, which should broaden the horizon of the understanding of the linguistic phenomenon and of the pedagogic practice.
