Abstract

Dentro do arsenal imagético dos artistas latino-americanos selecionados nesta pesquisa, escolhi escrever sobre o erotismo na obra dos artistas Meyer Filho, Jarina Meneses, Prilidiano Pueyredón, María Izquierdo e Pedro Zonza Briano, incitando problemáticas relacionadas tanto à teoria quanto à história da arte. Entre elas, encontra-se a utopia moderna na América Latina e sua relação com a Patafísica, bem como um breve paralelo entre as obras La Siesta de Pueyredón e Le Sommeille de Gustave Courbet.
