Community School - Integration School and Community: to mobilize is to transform?

Abstract

This article in art education aims to report the paths created, structured, groped and carried out by the project Community School - Integration School and Community in the neighborhood of Aclimação in the city of São Paulo in 2019 through the notions of cooperation (FREINET), free territories (RAGO) and experience (LARROSA). As a tool for interaction with the community during action research we use the concept of relational aesthetics (BOURRIAUD). From 2020 onwards with the coronavirus pandemic, there were changes in the project's action plan due to social isolation. Given this reality, we started a process of adaptations, experimenting again with other organizational, communicational, supportive and referral structures on virtual platforms together with the community. We use the idea of ​​a learning community (TORRES) where through our own strengths we seek to supply our needs. We reflect on our attempts to create and mobilize with different groups, neighbors and public officials in our territory and whether we can transform our local reality through praxis with the participation of various actors working in collaboration and partnership with public schools in the region.

Fernanda Eiras Rubio, Escola Comunitária - Integração Escola e Comunidade

Fernanda Rubio possui formação técnica-profissionalizante em Art, Craft & Design pelo Liberties College (2007), é licenciada em pedagogia pelo Instituto Singularidades (2018) e está cursando sua segunda licenciatura em artes visuais na Universidade de Taubaté. Pretende iniciar um mestrado em Mudança Social e Participação Política na EACH-USP em 2021. Viveu fora do Brasil por 10 anos, trabalhando como artista comunitária no City Art Squad em Dublin desde 2008, atuou em centros sociais independentes: Seomra Spraoi em Dublin desde 2005 e La Casa Invisible em Málaga desde 2011. Participou do coletivo Food Not Bombs em Dublin desde 2004, da revista anarca-feminista RAG em Dublin desde 2006 e da programação do Lady Fest Berlim em 2010 com a mediação e instalação do projeto e exposição "Tree of Life". Se envolveu com grupos ativistas de gestão cidadã como na horta comunitária "El Caminito" em Málaga (2012) e Parque Augusta em São Paulo (2013). Tem experiência como produtora de eventos artísticos e culturais desde 2008 em Dublin com o projeto Divercity e desde 2014 pela Sedentary Unicorn Productions em São Paulo. Trabalhou como arte educadora na Associação União da Juta em 2013 no bairro do Sapopemba e foi voluntária no Projeto Quixote em 2015. Estagiou na escola rural da Acaia Pantanal de Corumbá em 2016 e em diversas escolas públicas na cidade de São Paulo. Atuou no núcleo pedagógico da Microtopia desde 2016 no bairro da Aclimação. Seu foco de trabalho é desenvolvimento local com sua pesquisa da Escola Comunitária com ênfase na integração escola e comunidade. Estagiou artes visuais na educação formal no ensino médio da E.E. Caetano de Campos - Aclimação e na educação não-formal na EMIA (Escola Municipal de Iniciação Artística). Participou da Jornada do Patrimônio Municipal 2019 com a oficina: "Desenhar possibilidades com a comunidade para uma área subutilizada". Trabalhou em 2019 como professora de artes bilíngue na Escola Lumiar e Wish School. Em 2020 produziu o documentário "Queijinho - Memória local ou impasse institucional" e criou o GERAR (Grupo de Estudos Rios da Aclimação e Região) pela Escola Comunitária junto com vizinhos. Participa do Movimento Ocupa a Cidade em São Paulo no GT de Mapeamento dos Territórios.
