SECTIONS POLICY

Continuos Demand Articles

Each article must have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 pages, including drawings, figures, tables, photos, and references.

Review

Reviews will have no title: instead, the full reference of the reviewed publication should be given instead. They will be referred to books published in their first edition in Portuguese in the last two years and in their first edition in a foreign language in the last five years. They should have a maximum of 4 pages.

Interview

This section consists of the transcription (or availability on video) of interviews carried out with researchers or other professionals who preferentially discuss their production in relation to the concerns of contemporary society. The inclusion of questions that allude to interdisciplinary dimensions is recommended. Interviews focused on the life history of the interviewees will not be accepted.

Dossier Articles

This section is composed, for each issue, by an unpublished dossier, with a relevant subject (considering the focus and scope of the journal). The topic of the dossier may be proposed by the Editorial Coordination, by a member(s) of the Editorial Board, or by an interested researcher(s), duly justified and related to the focus and scope of the journal. Each article in the dossier must be unpublished and have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 25 pages.

Translation

Translations will be accepted of unpublished texts into Portuguese, in line with the focus and scope of the journal, duly accompanied by authorization for the translation of the original text.

Research Report

Research reports can have a maximum length of fifteen (15) pages. The inclusion of the name of the sponsoring institution is suggested, linking the date of the research carried out.

An introductory text is also necessary presenting the research and the conditions in which the photographic records were carried out (no more than two pages). Essays must have 10 to 20 photographic images, in JPG format, and the rights to use the image are assigned to the journal (for the issue in which the essay is published) upon submission. According to the journal's standards, if there are images of persons, they must formally authorize the publication; in the case of images of children or adolescents, the current Brazilian legislation must be considered.
