O estudo das dramaturgias da dança é, relativamente, recente. As primeiras
pesquisas foram conduzidas na Bélgica em torno da década de 1990, e depois nos
Estados Unidos, na Alemanha e na Inglaterra4. Aos poucos, surgiram ainda novas
tentativas de ressignificação do termo dramaturgia para dança, afirmando a
necessidade de evidenciar os nexos de sentido da criação como: modo de olhar
(Bleecker, 2003 e Brizell e Lepecki 2003), dispositivo coreográfico de captura
(Lepecki, 2007), agenciamento (Hansen; Callison, 2015), fisicalidade somática
(Romanska, 2015), dramaturgia de novas mídias e outras materialidades (Eckersall;
Grehan; Scheer, 2017).5
A pergunta nem sempre evidente nessas variadas definições, era se a
dramaturgia da dança teria uma autoria individual (do dramaturgo ou
dramaturgista) ou seria, afinal, um agenciamento coletivo entre todos e tudo que
estivesse envolvido na criação da dança.
No que se refere à presença de objetos inanimados como acionadores de
movimento, talvez tenha sido a obra de Jerôme Bel,

uma das pioneiras a propor secadores de cabelo e aspiradores de pó como
dançarinos. E no Brasil, Alejandro Ahmed, do grupo Cena 11, que trouxe a cachorra
Nina para cena além de dispositivos tecnológicos de controle na obra
Skinnerbox
(2005). Fascinado por videogames e robótica, Ahmed nutriu durante muitas
décadas a curiosidade em relação aos operadores do movimento. Onde nasceria
o controle? É sempre o sujeito que controla a ação ou a ação se organiza em
conexão com o que está dentro e fora do organismo?

dramaturgia da dança para novas conexões: humano-não humano, organismo
