The study identifies the typical needs for training, especially those associated to professional performance and the purpose of education. The study is based on the collection of information from a sample of 702 undergraduate students. It was concluded that education, at this level, cannot be standardized, as has taken place, before it meets individual needs (scientific, pedagogical and for personal realization etc.) and those of the school ( as a process with some autonomy). It must also consider the global and sectoral reforms emanating from the central government.

Key words: Change.
